National Observatory of Kazakhstan is a non-governmental organisation established in 1996 under the agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and European Training Foundation. On the basis of National Observatory, Association .Education For All in Kazakhstan. was established in 2002 by three organizations: Republican Institute for up-grading skills of academic and administrative staff of education, Association of initiative schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Public Fund for support of employment. Mission of the Association .Education For All in Kazakhstan./National Observatory . to facilitate the transition to a market economy in Kazakhstan by providing objective, focused quality information and expert services in the field of education and labour market, to assist promoting and implementation of ideas and goals of the Global EFA movement in Kazakhstan through provision of information, expert, consultancy, mediatory and training services related to education for all, lifelong learning, TVET projects and programmes. The Association/NOB is well positioned. Experts have established links with the National Agency for statistics, Ministries, leading research institutions and centres, international and national NGOs, educational and training institutions. The Association/NOB focuses at solving problems in the field of education and in the social sphere. This position at the cross of the two important areas helps to integrate interests of both sectors. The Association experts are invited by UNESCO, ETF, EU Delegation in Kazakhstan, Soros-Kazakhstan Fund and other international organisations to implement research and analytical projects in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. The usual procedure of project implementation includes joint work with international experts and consultants, organisation of international conferences, workshops and seminars, study of the national and international experience, preparing reports and publications, dissemination of the results through training activities |
